About PRDA

Building resilient communities since 1988 in Manipur

People’s Resource Development Association (PRDA) is a community-focused non-governmental organization based in Bishnupur, committed to promoting sustainable development and strengthening the resilience of vulnerable communities.

Established in 1988, PRDA works closely with women, children, farmers, and marginalized groups through integrated interventions in livelihood promotion, health, natural resource management, disaster response, and social empowerment. By fostering community participation, building local capacities, and encouraging collective action, the organization enables people to improve their quality of life and secure long-term, sustainable livelihoods.

Through its holistic and inclusive approach, PRDA continues to contribute towards creating self-reliant, resourceful, and resilient communities.
